1080 baiting program - subsidies still available!

The ABGC-led 1080 baiting program for feral pigs has delivered immediate impact, with 29 feral pigs humanely destroyed on the first property to participate in the program. Feral pigs are a recognised vector for the spread of Panama TR4 and remain a significant biosecurity risk to the banana industry.  

ABGC is continuing to invite expressions of interest from growers wishing to participate in this subsidised feral pig control program. Those interested are encouraged to complete the Expression of Interest form below.
